Morning Message: added quotation marks in dialogue
Shurley sentence: reviewed prepositions in sentence
Writing: students chose a personal narrative topic for this week/ began writing their hamburger pattern paragraph
Reading: finished ch8 in Kid in the Red Jacket/ completed ch5 voc sheet/ choose one "thin" question from first group and one "thick" question on bottom/ played scrambled eggs to review for Friday's test
Red Hot Words: Super, supr,sur (above, over, more) and hyper (above, over, more)
Health lesson 4 voc words/ write definition and sentence making connection to Kid in Red Jacket
Social Studies: sheet for latitude and longitude/ reviewed southwest, west, and midwest regions
Math: focus on decimals this week/ decimal skill sheet and homework sheet
I have replaced our lost fish with tilapia sp??? instead. Bonus money available if you can find interesting information by doing a little research on this kind of fish. I think it is going to be an interesting experiment this year.
Don't forget to read 20 minutes at least tonight.
