May I just say a HUGE THANK YOU for all your help at home.  It makes my job so much easier and enjoyable when we work together to see that skills are getting mastered.  I will be grading and handing back math mastery quizzes on Monday.  I will be pulling students back for this, but please check on Monday night to see how your child is doing.  We have worked so hard on some of these skills, but several still struggle. 

Language:  writing dialoge sentences correctly
                      compound/ complex/ simple sentences written with correct punctuation
                       you're your
                          parts of speech

Reading:      finding main idea and details when reading (check comprehension as they read.)

Math:       rounding decimals, naming decimals, ordering decimals, changing decimals to fractions

Social Studies:     naming the four regional tribes/ what they ate/ what their house was made of/
                               special trivia for each
                              TEST OVER TLINGIT ON MONDAY  (Northwest, totem poles, fish, cedar trees)

Health:   skeletal system      name bones/ vocabulary words  (notes are in green folder)
