Tutoring on Tuesday's and Thursday's started tonight.  We will be meeting for three weeks.

• social studies unit 6 lesson 1
• Saxon math lesson 87 (1-23)

Don't forget your practice spelling tonight.  Correct 2X each.  Needs parent signature.

Tomorrow will finish up our president crosswords/trivia.  We will plan for our test on Monday.  Tomorrow we will begin research on our president project.

We will also finish up our Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe tomorrow with a summary/picture for the hallway, a quiz, and finish watching our movie.  We are missing one of our hardback copies. Monday we will begin our next book, Bud, Not Buddy.  Love, Love, Love It!

We spent our math block today correcting our practice 18A for tomorrow's test and mastering as many of the section B problems on ixl as possible.  If you didn't finish as many as you hoped, try to continue at home tonight to conquer section B.

No math homework if the 18A practice sheet was finished.

I am working on getting our math royalty picture and our new character trait winners on our blog.  Having technical difficulties and must leave for the nursing home.  (Anxious to stiop in and visit with our friend, Maddy.  Thank you Jordyn for our first return letter.  I'm sure she will be excited to get it. )

Book orders sent home.  I  need to order more copies of our next class book.  If you know you want a book, but need more time to pay for it, just let me know and we'll go ahead and order it tomorrow.

Welcome Back

Spelling is due Wednesday....ahh....April Fools!  No spelling until next week.  Our only homework is to finish lesson 86 in the Saxon book (1-23).  We have new ixl.com passwords.  Be sure and tell me any skills mastered at home.

We will begin writing back to our pen pals this week.  I have met our new friend, Maddy, several times now and have fallen in love.  What a jewel!  Our other new friend, Sharon, isn't feeling well.  Hopefully, she's up and going soon.

I will be sending home a parent release form tomorrow.  I think I am supposed to have your permission to post any pictures or videos on our blog. 

We are nearing the end of our president unit; however, I'll be giving directions for an end of the unit project.  Before that though, be sure to practice saying, or singing, the presidents in order, practice their pictures (may check out picture flashcards), and know our important trivia.  Be prepared for another test in about a week from today.

We will be welcoming our second new student, Fanny, tomorrow.
